Android Landing for

NetEase Games unveiled their captivating new life sim, Floatopia, at Gamescom. Expected to launch on multiple platforms, including Android, sometime in 2025, Floatopia transports players to a whimsical world of floating islands and unique characters. The game's trailer depicts a charming environment where players can cultivate crops, engage in cloud fishing, and personalize their airborne island home.

A Unique Apocalypse

The game begins with a world-ending event, but fear not! This apocalypse is more akin to "My Time At Portia" than "Fallout." The setting is a sky-bound realm of fragmented landmasses, inhabited by individuals possessing diverse supernatural abilities. Interestingly, not all powers are equally impressive, leading to some amusing character dynamics.

Players assume the role of Island Manager, undertaking tasks reminiscent of "Animal Crossing" and "Stardew Valley." Cultivate crops, fish amongst the clouds, and meticulously decorate your island home. The mobile nature of your home unlocks opportunities for exploration, allowing you to visit exotic locations and forge new friendships.

Social Interaction and Customization

Floatopia offers extensive social features, including collaborative adventures, island parties, and the chance to showcase your meticulously crafted paradise to friends. However, the multiplayer aspect is entirely optional, allowing for a solitary gameplay experience if preferred.

The game features a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique quirks and, in some cases, My Hero Academia-esque superpowers.

While a precise release date for 2025 hasn't been confirmed, pre-registration is available on the official website.
