The official release date for the Sailing skill in Old School RuneScape is November 19, 2025.

This long-awaited addition marks the game’s first new skill in nearly 19 years — since Hunter was introduced in 2006 — and comes after a community vote that officially selected Sailing over Taming and Shamanism. With a 190% expansion of Gielinor’s world, players will finally set sail across uncharted oceans, build and customize ships, uncover sunken treasures, and dive into new storylines.
