With the exception of a couple of online-only features, Eternium can be enjoyed offline once the initial content download is complete. Drawing signs to cast spells is both easy and rewarding, while the tap-to-move control offers a more natural and relaxing experience compared to thumbsticks, staying true to the vintage point-and-click ARPG feel.

Eternium can truly be played for free, as over 90% of players do. In-game purchases are completely optional. Gems, the main currency, can be collected from enemies and quests without any limiting stamina or energy mechanics. The best rewards come from playing, not paying.

Progress from common to rare, epic, and legendary gear. Discover gemstones that fit into your armor's sockets. Craft socketed rings and amulets, and fuse three into a higher quality item.

Unleash formidable offensive abilities such as Whirlwind, Shockwave, Arc Lightning, or Blizzard. Control enemy crowds with Frost Nova, Vortex, or Silence, or opt for stealth and assassination with Smokescreen, Traps, and Snipe.

Each hero class has access to around 20 abilities (skills or spells), with each of your three companions offering four more. The game starts simple but evolves into a flurry of tactical possibilities at higher levels.

Once your hero reaches level 70, experience points contribute to Champion Levels, which are unlimited and provide steady stat upgrades. These Champion Levels are inherited by new heroes, facilitating their growth.

Beyond the four story acts, an endless progression of beautifully, randomly generated levels awaits in the Trials of Valor game mode.
