Game Rules:
This popular Indian card game is played by four people over five rounds with a standard 52-card deck. Spades are always the trump suit. The dealer gives 13 cards to each player. At the beginning, players bid on how many tricks they expect to win. In Callbreak multiplayer, the goal is to win the most tricks while breaking other players' bids—known as call breaking.
How to Play:
Callbreak offers classic, popular card games with multiplayer options, much like other trick-taking games, especially Spades.
Deal & Bidding:
Each player gets 13 cards, starting to the dealer’s left. The first dealer is randomly chosen, and the turn to deal moves clockwise afterward.
Scoring:
In Callbreak, players bid a number of tricks from 1 to 13, starting to the dealer’s left. Meeting your bid goal gives you a positive score.
Gameplay
○ In Callbreak, spades are the trump cards.
○ Players must follow the suit of the first card in each trick. If they can’t, they may play a trump card if available. Otherwise, any card can be played.
○ The goal is to win tricks by playing the highest possible card.
○ The first trick in a round begins with the player to the dealer’s right leading any suit. Players then take turns anti-clockwise. The trick is won by the highest spade played; if no spade is played, the highest card of the led suit wins. The trick winner leads the next trick.
