War

War – a simple card game for all players

War is the classic childhood card game that nearly everyone has played. The rules are straightforward: cards are dealt evenly among players. Each turn, players reveal the top card of their deck. The player with the higher-ranking card wins the round and adds both cards to the bottom of their deck. If the cards are equal, a "War" is declared. Players then place two cards face down followed by two cards face up; the higher face-up card wins all cards in that war. The goal is to collect all the cards. Ranks are ordered from low to high (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A), with one twist: the six can beat an ace.
