Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.
The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, concluding after 11 weeks, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Excess tokens could be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Since Blizzard confirmed no future use for Bronze Celebration Tokens after the event's January 7th end, this automatic conversion prevents players from retaining useless currency.
This automatic conversion will happen upon logging in after Patch 11.1's release. While the exact date remains unannounced, considering the timing of other in-game events (Plunderstorm, Turbulent Timeways), February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule. This means the conversion will likely occur after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes.
Timewarped Badges, obtained through this conversion, are used in Timewalking events with persistently available rewards, ensuring players can save them for future use. Therefore, players are encouraged to log in promptly after Patch 11.1's release to benefit from this automatic conversion.
