World of Warcraft Unveils New 2025 Six-Month Subscription Rewards

World of Warcraft players who subscribe for at least six months will receive the Timbered Sky Snake mount (for retail WoW) and the Timbered Air Snakelet pet (for Classic WoW). These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be granted by January 31, 2025, and must be redeemed before January 31, 2026.

This continues a tradition of offering bonus in-game items for longer subscriptions, which began in 2018 and typically changes twice a year. Past rewards have often reflected the lunar Zodiac. The Timbered Sky Snakelet pet (for retail WoW) is available separately in the Battle.net shop for $10, but is not included in the subscription offer. The mount and Classic pet can also be purchased individually for $25 and $10 respectively.

Existing subscribers on qualifying plans will also receive these rewards.

12-Month Subscription Bonus:

Twelve-month subscribers receive the above rewards plus the following:

• Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts (retail WoW)
• Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet (Classic WoW)
• July's six-month subscription rewards

With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the continuation of Classic progression servers, securing a longer subscription now offers significant value for players.
