Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
In the recent video update, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared the current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases." This focus on refining the game underscores Paradox's commitment to quality over haste.
Over the past few months, Paradox has been actively engaging the community through Dev Diaries, sharing insights into the game’s characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate their efforts on enhancing the game, all future Dev Diaries have been paused.
First Revealed in 2019
Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, initially set for a March 2020 release. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay in October 2019, pushing the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and later to 2021. Amidst these delays, the project saw the departure of several key leads.
A significant shift occurred in February 2021 when Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved with the project. Instead, development was handed over to The Chinese Room. Since then, the game's release has been rescheduled multiple times—from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is now set to launch in October 2025 across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. To keep up with the latest developments, be sure to follow our ongoing coverage.
