In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, after the initial game section, you gain access to side quests and open-world exploration. One such quest involves locating Vostatek's horse, Pepik, which yields substantial rewards upon completion.

The quest, "Lackey," begins by speaking with either Zlata at Vostatek's residence (west of Tachov) or directly with Vitek (slightly southeast of the house). This leads you north to where Vostatek is under wolf attack.

Rescuing Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After saving Vostatek, you'll escort him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered. However, Pepik is missing. Follow the trail of clues, carefully examining each one. This path leads to a poacher's camp.

Pepik has been captured by poachers. You can strategically engage them individually or in small groups, or even potentially bypass the tougher opponents and escape with Pepik. Remember, there's no opportunity for rest between rescuing Vostatek and retrieving Pepik.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can then choose to travel with him back to his home (fast travel option), receiving a significant monetary reward and access to lodging.

Having successfully completed this quest, you can now pursue other quests, romantic interests, or purchase additional equipment with your newfound wealth.
