Uncover the Secrets of Astro Bot's Lost Galaxy: A Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers players a vast array of explorable worlds. However, a hidden tenth world, the Lost Galaxy, requires players to locate ten cleverly concealed portals scattered throughout the game's levels. This guide details the location and access method for each. Look for a swirling icon on the level select screen to indicate a hidden portal within that stage.

Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Mid-level, locate a dark chamber with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Utilize the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. The wall will then retract, revealing the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, past a snowy arena with a ladybug enemy, find a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it towards an icy statue, and release it to shatter the statue. Backtrack, leap over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access the hidden room containing the portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his embedded claw. A glowing area nearby indicates a spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to uncover a hidden chamber with the portal.

Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles. Shrink down, ride a bubble, and transfer to another to reach a branch above a bot. Navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!

At the level's start, turn around to find platforms and an electric enemy. Lure the enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the portal behind.

Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Locate the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and extinguish the flames. Descend the chimney to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid

At the level's conclusion, turn right to find falling jewels and a bounce pad leading to a hidden area. Activate a trap and locate two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

Acquire the pufferfish power-up and backtrack to an early area with a ladybug enemy and a distant platform. Use the pufferfish and Astro's hover to reach the platform. Use motion controls to clear bamboo surrounding the portal, then activate it by circling its perimeter.

Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, using Astro’s hover ability to locate invisible platforms indicated by glowing ground sections. Ride a rug to an elevated platform containing the portal.

Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside, where you'll find the final portal.
