The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, central to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true power unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and use this invaluable artifact.

Where To Find the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension

The Tachyon Medal is first mentioned in Shangri-La and is the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, located in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared for its summoning abilities and the "Consume" attack (90% health drain). Kina's healing abilities are essential, and Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider using Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict significant damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amongst the rubble, locate a chest on your right – it contains the Tachyon Medal.

How To Utilize the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension

Using the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, finish the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat the bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will appear beneath the Altar. One holds the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all chests activates a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time, initiating NG+ (New Game+). Your levels, items, and equipment are carried over. While enemies are stronger, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
