Spider-Woman Joins Marvel Contest of Champions Amid Lumatrix Threat

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has rolled out an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions. This update introduces two thrilling characters: Spider-Woman and the inaugural Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. Dive into new quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with valuable rewards waiting to be claimed.

Spider-Woman makes her grand entrance on April 17th, bringing her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage prowess to The Contest. Her skills are set to turn the tides in battles. Meanwhile, Lumatrix, a dazzling yet deadly assassin crafted by The Founders, debuts on April 9th. Their unique light manipulation powers are both captivating and lethal.

Lumatrix's addition to your team requires collecting Light Essence, which you can gather from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids. The event to acquire Lumatrix runs until June 4th, so make sure to participate and secure this powerful new Champion.

The new Spy Games quest adds another layer of intrigue, with Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Eidols' arrival. From March 9th to May 7th, join these elite spies as they navigate through danger and deception to uncover the truth behind Lumatrix's sinister light display.

Deadpool isn't missing out on the fun, launching the Red & Dead’s Discount Shed from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool is sharing a stash of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and other bonuses. Following closely, from May 7th to 14th, the Heart of Fire Sale offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, inspired by the Thunderbolts, will shake up the seven-day supply drop from April 18th through May 2nd. By achieving milestones, you can earn Poolshields, which can be exchanged for rewards during Red & Dead’s Discount Shed. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring more free rewards for those who log in regularly.
