The PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, bringing with it a host of PC-specific features, as revealed by a trailer that was accidentally published by Sony on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Although the trailer was quickly removed, it was captured and shared widely across the internet, and we anticipate an official release soon.

The trailer also introduced the Stellar Blade Complete Edition, which includes the base game along with all the DLC released to date, available for both PS5 and PC. This news follows more than a year after the game's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC comes packed with features tailored for the platform, such as AI upscaling through Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, Japanese and Chinese voiceover options, support for ultrawide displays, enhanced environment textures, and DualSense compatibility for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

Additionally, the trailer showcased a new boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. At the trailer's end, a scene where Eve releases a memory stick—a sequence not present in the base game—has sparked speculation about potential new endings or additional DLC.

The Stellar Blade Complete Edition, coming to both PC and PS5, highlights the game's success. Developed by the Korean studio Shift Up, Stellar Blade was a significant hit, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The PC version is expected to surpass the PS5 version's sales, which exceeded 1 million copies within two months of release. Shift Up has also expressed interest in developing another game within the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players control Eve as she fights to reclaim Earth from unknown invaders in a fast-paced action role-playing game. While it received a 7/10 from IGN, the game was well-received overall and quickly sold a million copies. IGN's review noted that "Stellar Blade excels in the most crucial aspects of an action game, but is hindered by unengaging characters, a lackluster narrative, and some frustrating RPG mechanics, preventing it from reaching the pinnacle of its genre."
