Electronic Arts recently hosted a special livestream to ramp up excitement for the 25th anniversary of The Sims series. The event was filled with exciting announcements about the gifts and events lined up for The Sims 4 players during these celebratory weeks.
The festivities have already started with a new update that has been rolled out. This update tackles various bugs, features a revamped main menu, and enhances the game's overall performance. In a nod to the past, developers have refreshed several iconic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. These updated versions will be available right from the start in new games, and for those playing with existing saves, the new designs can be accessed through the library.

Coinciding with this update, a new in-game event titled "Blast from the Past" will kick off. Players can participate in a series of easy missions to unlock nostalgic, retro-style items and complete a new collectible set.
Adding to the excitement, a new season called "Motherlode" will start on February 6 in The Sims 4. While details about what "Motherlode" will entail are still a mystery, players can look forward to uncovering more as the date approaches.
