Scammers are distributing fake invitations to test Elden Ring Nightreign

Bandai Namco is sending out emails inviting players to participate in the closed beta test of Elden Ring: Nightreign, scheduled for February 14-17, 2025. Selected players will be among the first to experience the game's three-person cooperative mode.

However, beware of scams! Due to the game's popularity, fraudulent invitations are circulating. These fake emails, mimicking official Bandai Namco notifications, contain links to malicious websites designed to steal player accounts. These sites often resemble Steam login pages. Players are urged to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any emails before clicking links. If unsure, always consult official Bandai Namco channels.

A significant change in Elden Ring: Nightreign is the removal of the in-game messaging system. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision, citing the approximately forty-minute session length as insufficient time for players to effectively send or read messages. The feature was disabled to optimize the limited playtime.
