Reverse: 1999 Launches 2nd Anniversary Paradise Regained

In a special anniversary livestream for Reverse: 1999, Bluepoch Games unveiled the upcoming Version 2.8 content, showcasing detailed Live2D chibi models for the new characters. Titled Paradise Regained, this major update celebrates the game's second anniversary.

Events span from late September through October

Paradise Regained introduces four new 6-star characters to Reverse: 1999. Nautika features as the headline unit in the anniversary limited banner, The Myth at Her Fingertips, available in two distinct forms, each with unique skills.

Additionally, all players who log in during the anniversary period will receive Urich for free. First appearing in Version 1.9, he leads the Laplace cryptography team and exists as awakened ferrofluid contained within a glass tank.

Phase 2 brings Moldir, a lieutenant from the Former Zeno Sentinel Unit, a soldier conflicted between her duties and personal emotions as she watches enemy ships approach. Check out the preview video below.

Two free 5-star characters are also joining the roster. Matilda will be obtainable simply by logging in during Version 2.8, while Buddy Fairchild, a squirrel companion, can be acquired through the Against the Flood event.

Massive anniversary rewards in Paradise Regained

All players receive 30 free summons, with new players eligible for up to 100 summons plus a selectable 6-star character. A free 6-star portrait from the standard pool is available, alongside another selectable 6-star via the Timely Reinforcements event from Version 2.7.

Several new gameplay modes are being introduced. Pre-Storm Protocol runs from September 19th to October 30th, 2025, offering an exploration-survival experience where players gather resources, defend against enemies, and avoid Storm Syndrome contamination.
