Obtaining Master Chief

Cost: 1,500 V-Bucks

As of December 23rd, 7 PM ET, the Master Chief outfit is available in the Fortnite Item Shop. Purchasing the outfit grants you the iconic Master Chief skin (featuring Halo Infinite armor) and the free Battle Legend Back Bling.

While a LEGO style isn't currently available, you can also purchase additional Halo-themed items as part of the Master Chief Bundle or individually:

Availability: The Master Chief outfit will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop until December 30th, 7 PM ET.

Unlocking the Matte Black Master Chief Style

Good news! Epic Games has confirmed that the Matte Black style for the Master Chief outfit is still unlockable. To obtain it:

1. Purchase the Master Chief outfit.
2. Play one match of Fortnite Battle Royale on an Xbox Series X|S.

This will automatically unlock the Matte Black style for your Master Chief skin. Previous reports stating this style was no longer available have been corrected.
