Save On Magic’s TMNT Set Ahead of Launch

The MSRP (listed as the List Price by Amazon) for a Play Booster Box in the Universes Beyond series is $209.70, and this promotion lowers that cost to just $159.99.

However, Play Booster Boxes typically sell at this price point when they belong to Magic’s core sets. Indeed: Universes Beyond Booster Boxes carry a higher base price than standard Universes Within boxes simply by design.

Nevertheless, this deal provides 30 packs containing 14 cards each for $5.33 per pack, down from the regular $6.99.

A comparable situation occurred with Magic’s Spider-Man set earlier this year; despite underperforming across most metrics, Avatar Play Booster boxes were also discounted, and that release proved to be quite promising. Thus, a price reduction at this stage does not necessarily indicate whether the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set is good or bad.
