Magic: The Gathering's Next Set Is a Death Race, Here Are 2 New Cards

Aetherdrift, Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, plunges players into a thrilling multiversal death race. We have an exclusive preview of two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck.

Magic: The Gathering - Aetherdrift's New Cards

Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon creature, showcases the red-white pairing's focus on the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond). Its 3 power allows it to crew vehicles, and its activated ability generates Pilot tokens for additional vehicle crewing.

Count on Luck, a rare 3-mana enchantment, exemplifies mono-red strategy. At the start of each turn, it exiles the top card of your library, allowing you to play it immediately – a classic "impulse draw" effect.

Finally, we reveal Count on Luck's extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. The First-Place Foils, shiny golden cards, are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box. All set rares and 10 full-art lands receive this treatment.
