Jump King, the notoriously challenging 2D platformer that has tested the patience of gamers worldwide, is now available on mobile. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has officially launched globally for both Android and iOS devices following a limited soft launch in select regions earlier this year.
Originally released on PC in 2019 and later on consoles, Jump King made its mobile debut as a free-to-play title, first appearing in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. The mobile version faithfully recreates the punishing jump mechanics that made the game infamous across other platforms.
What’s Jump King Like on Mobile?
At its core, Jump King is deceptively simple—you control a knight in armor whose only ability is to jump. However, mastering those jumps is anything but easy. Each leap must be perfectly timed and precisely aimed, or you’ll find yourself plummeting all the way back to the beginning. And here's the kicker: every jump autosaves, so one tiny mistake can erase hours of progress.
Your ultimate goal? Reach the top to reunite with the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. But don’t expect any mercy—this journey demands persistence, skill, and nerves of steel. One wrong move and it’s back to square one.
The controls have been thoughtfully optimized for mobile play. Simply hold to charge your jump and release to launch yourself upward. It’s a minimalist setup that masks an intense gameplay loop full of precision, frustration, and eventual triumph.
Additional Features in Jump King Mobile
The mobile edition of Jump King introduces a heart-based energy system. You begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time you fall. To replenish, you can spin a daily fortune wheel for a chance to earn between 10 and 150 hearts. Alternatively, you can watch ads to restore hearts, though there's a limit of 150 free hearts per day through this method.
In addition to the main campaign, Jump King Mobile includes two full expansions. New Babe+ adds a second chapter featuring a bizarre and intense new path to conquer. Then comes Ghost of the Babe, which plunges you into a chilling third act set within a desolate, spectral world beyond the Philosopher’s Forest.
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, you can download Jump King directly from the Google Play Store or your local app store.
