"Infinity Nikki Delays Version 1.6 After Community Feedback"

After weeks of anticipation and player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the community's concerns. The release of Version 1.5 on April 28th was met with criticism due to its unfinished feel, and the team has now acknowledged that they rushed the launch. As a result, they've announced a delay for Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Originally slated for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled to June 12th. This delay extends the current Bubble Season, keeping all its exciting events like Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the new release date. Stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will remain open until then. Additionally, weekly tasks like Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20th, will now be part of Version 1.6.

The developers have issued an apology, citing performance issues across platforms, including PlayStation, as the reason for the delay. They're currently refining gameplay systems and have reassured players that missing storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, are not canceled but merely postponed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

The game has been plagued with bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions recently. In an attempt to mitigate the situation, the team is offering compensation: 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th, which players must log in daily to claim.

Some community members view this compensation as a last-ditch effort to boost engagement after the series of missteps. There's also a sense of disappointment among players, as the apology was quickly followed by promotional banners for new outfits.
