Tom Warren, a journalist from The Verge, had earlier hinted at an April release window, and sources from PlayStation Inside have now solidified the April 17 launch date for the port. Billbil-kun has also shed light on the various PS5 editions that will be available.
The game will offer at least two distinct physical editions, with pre-orders beginning on March 25. The base game will retail at $70, while the premium edition, priced at $100, will offer additional perks. Notably, those who opt for the Premium pre-order will enjoy early access, enabling them to start playing on April 15.
Last year, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle made a significant impact with its direct release on Game Pass, garnering enthusiastic reception. Given the recent shifts in Xbox's strategy, the swift introduction of a PS5 version is hardly surprising.
