This dual outfit method is exclusive to the Remastered version, thanks to its newly added transmog functionality. This allows you to retain the stats of one outfit while visually wearing another.

Outfit Requirements

This technique isn't universal. While your primary outfit can be any you choose, the secondary outfit (used for transmog) must be one of the following Banuk Werak outfits, obtainable in the Frozen Wilds DLC:

• Banuk Werak Runner
• Banuk Werak Chieftain
• Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (New Game Plus only)

Note that access to the Frozen Wilds DLC isn't contingent upon completing the main game.

Acquiring Banuk Werak Outfits

Banuk Werak Runner

Navigate to the Frozen Wilds expansion area after defeating the initial machine. Locate a Bluegleam Merchant (marked with a blue merchant icon) and purchase the Banuk Werak Runner outfit. Resource costs vary by difficulty:

Banuk Werak Chieftain & Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept

Obtain the Banuk Werak Chieftain (or Adept in NG+) by completing the "For the Werak" quest, the third main quest in the Frozen Wilds DLC. Consider lowering the difficulty if needed.

Combining Outfit Effects

Here's how to achieve the dual outfit effect:

1. Equip your desired outfit – the one providing the stats you want (enhance stats with Weaves if necessary).
2. Utilize the transmog feature to apply the appearance of one of the three Banuk Werak outfits.

This combines your chosen outfit's stats with the passive auto-healing effect of the Banuk Werak outfit. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner. Pairing this with an outfit like the Shield Weaver creates a nearly invincible character.
