What Recharge Drones Do

While some, like Mines and Grenades, are single-use, others boast a "battery life" that can be replenished using Energy Crystals. As you dive into the game, you'll notice a container in your truck designed for recharging weapons or drones, albeit at the cost of an Energy Crystal.

Upon purchasing additional Energy Crystals, they are automatically integrated into the container, eliminating any concerns about their disappearance. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket adjacent to the container, allowing it to restore its health. This process is crucial for maintaining your gear in optimal condition, preparing you to face the challenges of the next level and its monstrous inhabitants.

However, some levels can be particularly demanding, causing items to deplete rapidly. Although you can recharge your items using Energy Crystals once you reach a location, you may not always be near your truck. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes indispensable, enabling you to manage your items' energy levels on the go.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like all items and upgrades, is available at the Service Station, accessible after successfully completing each level. This is your opportunity to stock up on essential tools to ease your journey through the next level, provided you have the funds.

Given that items at the Service Station spawn randomly, it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it can be purchased for between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so be sure to assign it a number (1, 2, or 3) after purchase.

You'll monitor your item's condition via the battery bar displayed beneath it. To recharge an item, select the drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and then attach the depleted item.
