Fortnite Reloads with Nostalgic Mode

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic locations with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring nostalgic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.

What's in Reload Mode?

In Reload, your squad's survival hinges on at least one member remaining alive. A full squad wipe means game over. This high-stakes gameplay applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

The map is compact, eliminating drivable vehicles but compensating with a generous supply of unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain, and revives grant a common Assault Rifle (plus building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds urgency, but can be reduced by eliminating opponents. Players can also choose to immediately start their reboot.

Elimination and Strategy:

Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the action intense and resource-driven.

Rewards and Quests:

Complete introductory quests for significant XP rewards:

• Three quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
• Six quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
• Nine quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
• Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
