This guide has been updated to include how to obtain Oni Masks from Daigo, as well as another foolproof location where both masks are available for free.

All Oni Masks & How To Use Them

Void Oni Mask

The Void Oni Mask is currently a favorite among Fortnite players, serving as an exceptional mobility tool. By using the Shoot Button, players can throw a Void Tear, and then use the Aim Button to teleport to its location while the mask is equipped. The Epic Variant of the Void Oni Mask offers 15 total uses with a 5-second cooldown, while the Mythic Void Oni Mask provides 50 total uses.

Fire Oni Mask

The Fire Oni Mask, in contrast to the Void Oni Mask, focuses on dealing damage to opponents. Players can press the Fire Button to launch a guided flame projectile that inflicts 100 damage upon impact. This projectile can affect multiple opponents if they are grouped together. The Fire Oni Mask has 8 total uses with an 8-second cooldown, whereas the Mythic variant increases to 16 uses.

How To Get Oni Masks in Fortnite

Searching Elemental Chests

The most straightforward method to obtain Oni Masks is by looting Elemental Chests. These chests guarantee an elemental item, which could be either a Boon or an Oni Mask. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks can be found this way, though it still requires a bit of luck. Elemental Chests are scattered across the Fortnite island, with named Points of Interest (POIs) offering the best chances of finding one.

Defeating Demon Warriors

Another way to acquire Oni Masks is by defeating Demon Warriors. These warriors are located at specific spots marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map. Although they don’t always drop an Oni Mask, they may yield either a Void or Fire Oni Mask depending on what they're wielding. Demon Warriors can also drop Typhoon Blades and a Fire or Void Boon upon defeat.

Searching Chests

In addition to battling bosses and looting Elemental Chests, players can find Oni Masks by simply searching regular Chests. All Chests offer a chance to obtain both the Fire and Void Oni Masks at Epic Rarity, though this method relies heavily on luck.

Purchase From Daigon

For those seeking a guaranteed way to obtain both Oni Masks, players can purchase them from Daigo at Masked Meadows using Gold Bars. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks are available for purchase, but players must first complete all stages of Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests to unlock this option.

Loot From Daigon's Hidden Workshop

For players who prefer to bypass quests, there’s another guaranteed method to acquire both masks. By visiting Daigon's hidden workshop, located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows, players can find a machine with both masks attached. This machine can be looted like a regular chest, providing both the Void and Fire Oni Masks.

Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only)

To obtain the Mythic Oni Masks, players must defeat specific bosses. The Mythic Void Oni Mask is dropped by Night Rose at Demon's Dojo, while the Mythic Fire Oni Mask is obtained by defeating Shogun X at Shogun's Arena. These Mythic masks function similarly to their Epic counterparts but offer more uses.
