Disney Dreamlight Valley: Aladdin Quest Guide & Rewards Unveiled

Disney Dreamlight Valley has thrilled fans by introducing Aladdin and Princess Jasmine in the free Tales of Agrabah update, allowing players to integrate these beloved characters into the enchanting world of Dreamlight Valley. Here’s a comprehensive guide to Aladdin’s quests and the rewards you can unlock as you progress through his Friendship Path.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As soon as Aladdin arrives in Dreamlight Valley, he invites you to bond with the Magic Carpet. To complete the quest "Carpet Diem," equip the Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it. This quest begins in the Agrabah realm.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock the Level 2 quest "Good As Gold," increase Aladdin’s friendship level by gifting him his favorite items. Aladdin enlists your help in testing Scrooge McDuck's new security system. Begin by speaking to Scrooge and then capturing photos within his shop.

Your photo tasks include:

• A door guarding more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
• Two ways to reach the second floor of the shop.
• Three escape routes from the guards.

Focus on taking wide shots of the vault door behind the desk and both staircases to cover all requirements. After the photos, discuss the next steps with Aladdin. He suggests dressing in dark, sporty clothing, though waiting for nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to change is optional.

Once dressed for the mission, enter the shop and talk to Aladdin. He’ll guide you to press the red button on the left wall to initiate the security test, transforming the store into its "closed" state. Navigate through the store by manipulating the light pools and buttons:

1. Start with the center button Aladdin points to.
2. Move to the back right wall to turn off two upstairs lights.
3. Press the button above the right staircase to shift the spotlight away from the left staircase button.
4. Press the button above the left staircase to deactivate the light not over the initial center button, then press the center button again to turn off the light at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, adjust the spotlight at the front door by pressing the right counter button, then deactivate the light over the security test button using the left display counter button. Finally, press the button to the left of the counter and talk to Aladdin by the vault.

Coins will start floating around the shop. Collect all four and give them to Aladdin, who mentions some coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley. Exit the shop, glide around your house to collect the remaining nine coins, and deliver them to Aladdin in his house. Take a photo with him and the growing pile of gold, then listen to Aladdin and Scrooge discuss the mission to complete the "Good As Gold" quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin, now settled in Dreamlight Valley, proposes creating a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Begin by consulting Merlin, who directs you to find three books in the Dreamlight Library: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate them on the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and to the left of the central desk.

Hand the books to Aladdin, who then sends you to Minnie for help in crafting the carpet. Gather the following materials:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Deliver these items to Aladdin’s house. Once he crafts the Dreamlight Magic Carpet, accept the Magic Scroll from him and activate the carpet on the floor. Talk to Aladdin again to receive the carpet, then follow him to the Disney castle entrance.

Aladdin has planned a tour around the Valley on your new carpet, which serves as a Glider skin. Ensure your energy bar is overfilled (yellow) by consuming prepared meals. Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and glide under the Plaza’s main square banner, then navigate through the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, Peaceful Meadow, and end at the pier. Keep the quest tracked to stay on course.

Note that the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other Gliders, meaning ground obstacles will still affect your path.

After reaching the pier, speak to Aladdin to complete the "Bring Your Own Carpet" quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin shares his plan to create an extraordinary bouquet for Jasmine, surpassing the beauty of Agrabah’s palace gardens. Collect 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers of any type and bring them to Aladdin. Witness his disappointment when Jasmine compares the bouquet to the palace gardens.

Aladdin then seeks to surprise Jasmine with a treasure mentioned in a scroll from Scrooge McDuck. Start at the mermaid’s isle by interacting with the raft on Skull Island. Find the Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula and insert it into the tall rock to the left of your entry point.

An image of a broken-down pillar appears. Dig up a box north of the rock, fish for a pillar piece near the raft, and open a nearby barrel. Assemble the pieces on the Pillar, but nothing happens. Consult Aladdin, then take a photo of the Pillar and return to the Valley.

Discuss the Pillar with Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel, but they offer no insights. Return to Ariel’s island, where Jasmine joins you, suggesting the pieces rotate based on island clues. Follow the clue "From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers" to arrange the Pillar pieces: water in the middle, seed at the bottom, and flower at the top.

Retrieve the treasure from the water and give it to Aladdin. Jasmine appreciates the gesture, valuing their shared adventures over material gifts. Accept the golden tea set furniture item from Aladdin to complete the "All That Glitters" quest.
