Obtaining the Pickaxe in Fisch

As the Pickaxe is a feature of the Northern Expedition update, you'll find it in the new Fisch locations—specifically, the mountaintop camps. First, reach the Northern Summit. This involves swimming to the open sea and then navigating to the Northern Expedition marker.

You'll discover a portal there that transports you to a new sea containing the Northern Summit. The island is a large mountain with intricate paths and a frigid climate.
