Clash of Clans, an iconic piece of mobile gaming history, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will undoubtedly shake up the gameplay for its dedicated fanbase. Supercell, recognizing the need to modernize this aging yet beloved game, has announced the complete removal of troop training times. This groundbreaking change means you can now deploy your army almost instantly, diving into battles faster than ever before. It's a thrilling development, but don't forget to use those Training Potions and Treats before they're gone; as of today, they're being phased out of in-app purchases and chest rewards, soon to be converted to Gems.
Following the removal of training costs in 2022, this latest move to eliminate training times is another bold step by Supercell to enhance the player experience. You can still find Training Potions and Treats in the Trader and Gold Pass for the time being, but act fast—these items will soon be a thing of the past.
To help you make the most of this new change, Supercell is introducing a feature called Match Anytime. This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base if no real opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, but players whose bases are used won't lose anything if defeated. This system, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now becoming a standard feature.
Keep an eye out for other exciting changes, such as Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs to donate. For a deeper dive into all the updates and more, check out the Supercell blog.
