Civilization VII: A Roadmap to Global Domination
Civilization VII's launch is imminent, bringing with it a wealth of new content and features. The first DLC, "Crossroads of the World," arrives in March, split into two parts. The initial release features Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, introducing Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Three weeks later, the second installment introduces Simon Bolivar as a leader, alongside Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.

Further expansion is promised with "Right to Rule," slated for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This DLC will add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and additional natural wonders. March also sees the introduction of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
Firaxis is committed to ongoing improvements, adding challenges and events to enrich the gameplay experience.
Civilization VII will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gain five days early access, starting February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released.
Firaxis Games and 2K have declared Civilization VII a "gold standard," signifying the completion of primary development and a strong indication of an on-time release, barring unforeseen circumstances. The game's official launch date is February 11th, with Steam Deck compatibility confirmed. Prepare for global conquest!
