Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

Author: Henry May 17,2025

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it seems that Bethesda is poised to officially unveil the remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion tomorrow. The announcement, set for 11:00 am EST, will be streamed live on both YouTube and Twitch, as confirmed by Bethesda's recent post on Twitter/X.

While the exact nature of the announcement remains under wraps, the prominent "IV" and the background imagery, which strikingly resembles official art from Oblivion, strongly hint at what's to come. The gaming community has been buzzing with anticipation, fueled by a series of leaks over the years.

The journey to this point began with a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which initially suggested an Oblivion remaster for fiscal year 2022. Although that window has long passed, newer leaks in January of this year escalated the rumors, describing the project as a comprehensive remake developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos. The latest leaks, just last week, from Virtuos' website, seemed to confirm these developments, showcasing images of the remake in progress.

If these leaks hold true, fans can look forward to The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered launching on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The release is expected to offer both a standard version and a Deluxe Edition, which will notably include the iconic horse armor.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be a thrilling confirmation and, hopefully, more detailed insights into this much-anticipated remake.
