Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, is set to make a surprising return to the roster of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being initially included in the announced lineup. This exciting news was revealed by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

PlayBagley shared that the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk himself reached out to Activision, insisting on Margera's inclusion. Despite being initially told it was not possible, Hawk's determination led to Margera's addition to the game. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, and multiple rehab stints. He was also fired from Jackass Forever and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats. However, recent videos of Margera skateboarding with Tony Hawk sparked speculation about his return to the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is slated for release on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game has overcome significant hurdles, including the merger of its previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard, which had initially threatened to scrap the project.
