Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!
After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial PC release two years ago. For those unfamiliar, think cassette tapes – those retro music carriers your parents might remember!
Gameplay Overview:
The game casts you as a protagonist stranded on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures to combat them. The island's very essence revolves around cassette tapes.
Your mission: survive and find a way home. This involves using a cassette player to record monsters, then playing them back to become them.
Form alliances with Harbourtown's residents to fuse monster forms, creating powerful hybrid creatures. The fusion possibilities are virtually limitless!
Exploration and Combat:
New Wirral is a vast landscape brimming with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. Expect to glide, swim, climb, and even manipulate magnetic forces.
Combat is turn-based, incorporating an intricate elemental system. Strategic element combinations can inflict status effects on enemies, enhance your team's capabilities, or even alter an opponent's elemental type mid-battle.
Controller Support and Availability:
Bluetooth controller support is included, although some minor glitches may occur. Best of all, Cassette Beasts is free-to-play, available now on the Google Play Store.
