FortiToken Mobile is an advanced One Time Password (OTP) generator app designed for MultiFactor Authentication. It's a robust, OATH-compliant solution that offers both event-based and time-based OTPs, perfectly tailored for your mobile device. As part of Fortinet's comprehensive security suite, FortiToken Mobile integrates seamlessly with FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, or FortiToken Cloud, ensuring that your OTPs are validated through a secure server/service, enhancing your overall security posture.

When it comes to privacy and control, FortiToken Mobile respects your device's integrity. It cannot alter any settings on your phone, capture images or videos, record or transmit audio, nor can it access or send emails. Your browser history remains private, and any notifications or setting changes require your explicit permission. FortiToken Mobile does not have the capability to remotely wipe your phone. The only information it needs to access is your OS version to ensure app compatibility. During manual token installation, you might need to enter sensitive data like your email address or token seeds, but rest assured, this is securely handled.

While FortiToken Mobile operates with your consent, here are the permissions relevant to its functions:

• Access to the camera, which is used solely for scanning QR codes to simplify token activation.
• TouchID/FaceID, enhancing app security by requiring biometric verification.
• Internet access, necessary for token activation and receiving push notifications.
• The ability to "Send Feedback by Email," automatically filling in the "Sender" field for your convenience.
• Permission to share files internally between applications, preparing an attachment for the "Send Feedback by Email" feature.
• Keeping the phone awake during database upgrades to prevent data corruption.
