The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the control of your BaitBoat by replacing the traditional remote control with a user-friendly Android tablet or phone. This innovative system, available for free on the Google Play Store, is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. By connecting the tablet to the boat via a Bluetooth transmitter box, you can navigate your BaitBoat effortlessly using the device's touchscreen.

In manual mode, the operation is as straightforward as a standard BaitBoat, allowing you to steer through the touchscreen. The app displays real-time updates of the boat's position, route, and orientation with an integrated compass function. Additionally, you can save and label promising fishing spots identified by the echo sounder using the built-in GPS, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home."

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can program a series of points into a route with specific actions at each location. For example, you can configure the boat to:

1. Drive to the "Sandbank" position and open the right hatch.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hatch.
3. Return to the fishing spot and blink once.

Once programmed, the boat will follow this route autonomously, allowing you to store an almost limitless number of spots and routes. The system's advanced measurement technologies, including position and acceleration sensors, along with the latest GPS and compass technology, ensure precise route guidance with an accuracy of less than 30cm, 90% of the time!

The Carplounge Autopilot also intelligently manages line tension when deploying multiple rods to different spots. If the line is tensioned during travel, the boat's electronics detect this and adjust its steering to counteract the pull, maintaining a direct course to the target without unnecessary turns that could create line bends.

While the autopilot replaces the standard remote control, we provide the flexibility to use a traditional remote if preferred. For those opting for the app, all Android tablets with Bluetooth are compatible, with the app optimized for 10-inch tablets. Steering the BaitBoat is as simple as tapping and swiping on your tablet's touchscreen.

The app, available for free on the Google Play Store, is continuously developed and updated by our team. Through automatic software updates, we can quickly introduce new features, changes, and enhancements without requiring you to send your autopilot or boat back to us. The autopilot app updates automatically, similar to other tablet and smartphone apps.

This system is exclusively designed for use with the RT7 & RT4 V4.
