BALMA is the world’s first app designed for South Asian LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies to connect. We strive to build a safe and welcoming space for South Asian lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual people, as well as their allies.

BALMA is an LGBTQ+ company created and supported by individuals and allies, especially those with roots in South Asia—including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Our app is developed and managed by members of the LGBT, gay, trans, and Hijra communities, with a strong focus on inclusivity and diversity. We offer a wide set of features designed to enhance user experience while prioritizing strict data security. Here’s what makes BALMA special:

User Profiles:

Create a profile that reflects your personality. Share details like your age, location, interests, relationship status, and pronouns—so you can express your authentic self.

Live Broadcasting:

Go Live on BALMA to share video content with a broader audience. Viewers can engage through comments and send virtual gifts, which can be converted into cash—helping support your favorite creators and encouraging more content.

Chatting:

Use BALMA’s messaging system to connect through text, photos, videos, and virtual gifts. You can even tip users directly to show your appreciation and spark meaningful conversations.

Location-Based Connections:

BALMA is a Queer social app that uses geolocation to help you discover and meet nearby LGBTQIA+ people. It’s a simple way to find local connections and arrange meetups.

Community:

Join or create groups and communities based on your interests. This helps foster LGBT+ networking, spark Queer conversations, and organize discussions around LGBTQIA+ topics.

Video Chat:

Video chat on BALMA lets LGBTQ+ users have face-to-face conversations right in the app, helping strengthen communication and build closer connections.

Stay informed about LGBTQIA+ events, parties, Pride celebrations, and social gatherings in different cities. Join community activities and expand your network within the LGBTQIA+ world.

Travel Mode:

Even before you arrive, use Travel Mode to connect with locals and fellow travelers in a specific area. Discover LGBTQIA+-friendly spots and meet like-minded people. A Travel Mode icon in settings lets others know you're visiting.

Safety and Verification:

BALMA includes strong safety tools like user verification, screenshot protection, and options to report or block others. These help maintain a secure, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Balma Subscriptions:

BALMA is free to download and use. We also offer extra features through optional subscription plans (BALMA Unlimited) or one-time paid services—like sending Gifts and Tips—without needing a subscription.

Choose from flexible subscription terms: weekly, monthly, 3-month, or 12-month plans. Longer plans may come with discounts. Pricing varies by country and can change—current rates are always shown in the app.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you disable auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your iTunes account will be charged the renewal price 24 hours before the period ends, unless you update your preferences.
