The smart application, "Where Is My Bus?", designed to enhance your public transportation experience in Istanbul, is now available with updated user-friendly interfaces and a robust infrastructure!

"Where Is My Bus?" is the official app from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality General Directorate of IETT Operations. With this app, you can easily access information on bus routes across Istanbul, their schedules, and which lines serve specific stops.

Navigate effortlessly with "Where Is My Bus?"

Simply ask "Where Is My Bus?" to find the best way to reach your destination. The app allows you to view nearby stops, Istanbulkart top-up locations, and İspark points in both list and map formats.

Plan your trip with ease

Utilize public transportation in Istanbul to reach your desired location through various routes. To explore your options, enter your starting point and destination in the "How To Go" menu, along with your preferred travel date and time. "Where Is My Bus?" offers multiple route alternatives, tailored to your preferences—whether you're looking for the quickest path or the one with the least walking. Choose your preferred route, delve into the details, and follow the journey on the map if you wish.

Discover stops near you

Use the "Stops Near Me" feature to list stops closest to your current location, sorted by distance. Tap on a stop to access detailed information, including which lines service it and estimated arrival times for the next bus. Switch to map view to see stop locations and get directions.

Locate essential transport facilities

Find the nearest Istanbulkart top-up points or İspark parking facilities. "Where Is My Bus?" displays these conveniently on the app. From the side menu, view distances to these points, parking capacities, and types (e.g., open lot, multi-storey). You can also navigate to your chosen location using the map view.

Get comprehensive line and route details

Search for bus lines by name to explore their main and express routes. From the line's detail page, select a route to see which stops it includes. Monitor real-time bus locations and easily identify express routes through distinct color-coding. Use the map view to see all routes, toggling visibility with the filter icon in the top left corner.

Plan your journey with precise timing

Access the "Timetables" page from the homepage or a line's detail page to review departure times. The timetable shows main route schedules, with express route times highlighted in special colors. Refer to the "Route Information" section to understand the color codes for express routes.

Stay informed with real-time announcements

On any line or stop detail page, click the "Announcements" icon to get instant updates. You can also review past announcements related to all lines, stops, departure times, and route changes from the "Announcements" section in the side menu.
