Once Human unveils 2.0 update with new mode and fresh details about RaidZone spin-off

Having become a standout hit for NetEase, it’s no surprise that Once Human is expanding with its largest update yet. The survival PvE shooter is upgrading to version 2.0, introducing an all-new mode designed to test even the most seasoned players.

The centerpiece of this update is Endless Dream—a PvE experience that drops you into a stranger, more surreal version of the Once Human world. With the full map accessible from the start, familiar zones are now divided into Dream and Nightmare regions, each offering unique challenges.

You’ll face new environmental dangers, navigate the mysterious Confusion mechanic, and battle enemies like Light Dreamers, Deep Dreamers, and Eternal Dreamers. Build structures freely without territorial limits, shape the landscape, and experience dynamic progression with multiple endings based on how effectively you cleanse the nightmares.

Dreams turn to nightmares

Even if you’re happy with the base Once Human experience and only plan to try Endless Dream briefly, there’s still plenty to draw you in. Take part in the Annual Version 2.0 events, complete tasks for rewards like Lightforge Ingots, and uncover bonus items through Dreamland Wonder mini-games and other activities.

Fans eager for the Rust-inspired Once Human: RaidZone will be pleased to learn it now has a confirmed release date: July 30th.
