Dunkadillo Is an Upcoming Platformer from the Creator of the Dadish Series

Thomas K. Young, the indie developer behind hits like Dadish, Be Brave, Barb, and Super Fowlst, returns with a fresh platforming adventure called Dunkadillo, arriving soon on Android. The game blends basketball gameplay with armadillo-based physics.

What’s the game about?

Have you ever wondered what if a basketball were also an armadillo? If not, you’re not alone. If yes, you’re in for a treat—Dunkadillo is exactly that. The story follows Dill, an armadillo whose ordinary day turns chaotic when his best friend Pickle is whisked away by a mysterious tentacle.

Unlike regular armadillos, Dill can curl into a flawless spherical shape and bounce off walls, ceilings, and floors. But his true talent lies in using this ability to dunk himself through basketball hoops.

Dunkadillo on Android features 50 quirky levels filled with bizarre obstacles like exploding bees, clueless porcupines, and overly affectionate frogs. Along the way, you can collect hidden trading cards showcasing characters from Young’s other games—unlocking a total of 10 additional playable characters.

Boss battles are included too, with five large-scale encounters to conquer. And if the foes weren’t odd enough, a colossal rabbit lurks somewhere in the mix. Take a sneak peek at Dunkadillo on Android right here.

When will Dunkadillo arrive on Android? ---------------------------------------

Dunkadillo is set to launch on September 9th, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Steam at $9.99 USD. On mobile platforms—Android and iOS—it will be free to play with ads.

The Play Store page isn’t live yet, but you can visit the official website to explore the game’s artwork and development journey.
